Comments: This job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. A) Light truck drivers can operate a truck with a capacity of at least 15,500 pounds of the gross vehicle weight (gvw) of the truck and have a valid CNMI driver's license to operate.
B) Check and inspect the truck to ensure that mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working and running condition to prevent and avoid road accident and damages of the truck.
C) Inspect load weight capacity of the cargoes and ensure cargoes are secured of tying roof, covers and other paraphernalia for safety delivery.
D) Report and inform immediate manager or supervisor for truck damages and defects and any traffic violations and accident that may occur.
E) Responsible to follow all road traffic rules and regulation to avoid disruption of the delivery.
F) Responsible to check the completeness and correctness of the invoices and other documents of the materials to be delivered and obtain signature of the cargoes' recipient for the completeness of the delivery and in addition received payments if invoice indicated for collection.
G) Other task may be assigned from time to time for assisting warehouse personnel to unload goods and other related construction materials from the container for proper storing.
